Serena and Venus Williams to Battle It Out

By  |

Tennis power duo Serena Williams and Venus Williams will be battling it out against each other in today’s Wimbledon match this afternoon.

What can only be described as the most anticipated match in women’s tennis, the two sisters face it off in the fourth round of Wimbledon on Centre Court this afternoon at 1pm.

Serena Jameka Williams is currently ranked as the number one tennis player in women’s single tennis and has so far won 20 grand slams. Former number one women’s tennis player Venus Williams has moved down the ranking due to dealing with Sjogren’s syndrome with which she was diagnosed in 2011 and is now currently ranked at number 16.

Despite Venus being dubbed as the ”Queen of Grass” Serena is still predicted to come out on top in today’s match.

This will be the 26th time that the sisters have played against each other and there is no doubt that this will be a match to remember.

You can watch todays match live on BBC One, BBC Two or BBC iPlayer.
