The battle has returned!
After MTV’s launch in 2010, MTV’s Best Of The Best UK MC’s has become one of the most talked about moments in the UK music calendar and it has returned for its 6th year!
MTV’s BOTB list is a round up of the 10 most highly ranked, quality rappers who have made the biggest waves in 2015, with only one MC that can be crowned number 1.
Past winners include Tinie Tempah, Wretch 32 (2011 & 2012), Krept & Konan and last year’s champion Stormzy.
The list is discussed and compiled by the MTV team, taking into consideration their buzz, impact, swagger, MC ability and ratings.
Notable DJ’s, Producers and Presenters then come together to share their thoughts on the completed line up and discuss whether the best decision was made.
In conjunction with Not For The Radio (NFTR), MTV are releasing a video countdown in two parts, with part one available to watch above.
The Second part will be premiered on MTV UK tonight at 8pm, where the winner will be revealed.
