1) Sunscreen Is A Must

The sun is the single biggest factor for damaged skin – whether this is in the form of premature ageing, hyper pigmentation, melasma or solar lentigo its essential that skin is protected from the sun. While wrinkles may not be a major issue for black skin hyper pigmentation is – so if you want your skin to remain even in colour then protect with a SPF of at least 30, stay out of the sun during peak times, use cover up like hats (this will also protect your tresses too) and re apply your sun screen regularly.

2) Hyperpigmentation Can Be Treatable Safely

There are many reasons why women suffer from hyperpigmentation such as acne, lazer surgery, pregnancy or oral contraceptive use.
