Whether it be talking loud or endless shopping sprees, here are some things that we love that our men absolutely hate!
Gossiping with our girls…
Believe it or not, men hate that we reveal every intimate detail about our relationships to our friends. Much to their embarrassment, we have to admit that there’s simply nothing that goes undisclosed! When guys bond, they talk about “serious” matters that involve anything other than their emotional relationships. In fact, they are generally mortified by what we talk about and can’t understand why we spend hours chatting about other people’s drama’s.
Talking out loud!
As well as thinking that all we do is gossip, men think we chatter loudly! Unlike their passive convos, we’re easily excitable with our shrieks, piercing laughs, and animated gasps. Guys particularly hate it when we’re having a natter on the phone while they’re watching their favourite TV programme. God forbid if its the footy!
Valentines Day
This day is clearly for the ladies. We look forward to the romantic treats our men have in store, but on the other hand men dread Valentines Day. The pressure of finding that “special” gift besides the typical flowers and chocolates (because those are not ‘creative’ enough) is on!
Shopping Spree
Men hate being dragged around each shop while we try on every garment before finally deciding to return to the first store! When they go shopping, they are content to just buy the first thing they see. While shopping for us consists of some serious decision-making exercises, like what shoes and handbag match.
Marriage Discussions
Men avoid this topic like the plague, maintaining the “if it ain’t broke, why fix it?” attitude to relationships. They cringe whenever we keep dropping hints, especially in bed during a romantic movie.
Toiletries and Cosmetics
We can’t live without our toiletries and make-up bags. (Yes we have more than one!) They hate it when we hog the bathroom cabinet with our exfoliants, waxing creams and other paraphernalia. They can’t believe it takes so many products to make us feel good about ourselves! If they had their way, they would ban them!
Getting Ready
Ladies, we have to admit it! We take hours to get ready, and guys hate waiting around impatiently looking at their watches. Men get ready in ten minutes! All they do is come home from work, freshen up (if that!), throw on a clean shirt, and they’re good to go!
