Paradise – Ray BLK
Sending her love to her friend in paradise, UK singer Ray BLK releases a powerful video. This is one of her heaviest songs, filled with plenty of deep emotions. It’s written after a loss of her friend.
In an interview with ‘THE FADER’ she said: “This song is dedicated to my dear friend who I lost to cancer and to anybody who lost someone. I wrote it as a way to find peace and comfort with the idea of death during my friends illness and hope it helps give peace to anyone who’s mourning.”
In this track the BBC Sound of 2017 winner is translating to anyone that has gone through some thing similar.
Raise A Man – Alicia Keys
What a surprise for Valentine’s day, and what a way to host and close the Grammy with a news release song. We love Alicia Keys. Fifteen-time Grammy winner has released her new song “Raise A Man”. It captures the 38 year-old artist at her most experimental.
She writes a six minute love letter to her husband over loose piano arrangements, the ballad is not without charm. The song reconnects the early days of her romance with Swizz Beatz, this is her first single in three years.
Greatest Love – Ciara
Another amazing artist Ciara just released her now music video and song “Greatest Love”, in which Ciara is showing her dance moves as she looked in excellent shape.
Since her single “Dose” and “Level Up” both which proved to be total bangers. “Greatest Love” isa devotion to her husband NFL player Russell Wilson. Her new single is released under her new label BME (Beauty Marks Entertainment).
Roses – Arin Ray
One artist who proves that he is moving on this valentine is contemporay US artist Arin Ray with his new release “Roses”.
The artist who has previously co-written songs for Chris Brown “KAE” (“Royalty” album), has released this new song just in time for valentines day. Arin Ray sings a bit about trying to make a relationship work but is finding some difficulties making it work. He comes in after a long intro singing ” If you don’t like roses, send them back to me.” towards the middle he breaks in to a rap verse and later sings “Your best bet I know you will think of the rose.” I think he released his worth and is moving on.
