If internet rumours are to be believed then there are stormy times ahead for the Young Money crew.
Rapper Lil Wayne has been accused of firing shots at Drake via Twitter following reports that the Canadian rapper had left the Cash Money record label for pastures new, namely ROC Nation –a rival label headed up by rap legend Jay-Z. Yesterday night, various gossip blogs claimed that Drizzy had left the record label that made him a fully fledged star and fired his entire management team.
Drake is now said to be seeking legal counsel to make sure he parts with the label with as little complication as possible. Reasons have not emerged as to why the Headlines rapper wants to leave the label but it seems his once lovey dovey relationship with mentor Lil Wayne may have become strained. When the news broke, fans were left trying to work out a cryptic tweet by Lil Wayne which read: “”Sweetheart don’t u know that when u lose me, u lose yourself? I’ll be loyal before I lie and honored before I’m dishonest. – tunechi.”
