Kobe Bryant’s ex-wife has lucked out big time and she may very well be on her way to being inducted into the celebrity divorce hall of fame.
Vanessa -wife of the celebrated LA Lakers shooting guard filed for divorce after 10 years of marriage back in December amid that her husband had strayed yet again. The basketball star came clean about his naughty ways in 2003 after a hotel employee acussed him of sexual assault, charges he was later cleared of. The couple got married back in 2001 when Kobe was 21 years old and Vanessa was 18. As the couple did not sign a pre-nup, California law states that Vanessa is entitled to half of Kobe’s estimated $150 million dollar fortune, and it is thought she will walk away with $75 million in property assets including three homes including a recently completed mansion that took two years to complete.
