Barely three years after the infamous violent assault charges were filed against her once former lover, Rihanna has shocked her fans by putting Chris Brown on the remix to her raunchy and explicit single ‘Birthday Cake’. Likewise, the favour has been returned with the sexy Barbadian singer featuring on Chris Brown’s latest single ‘Turn Up The Music’.
For months the internet has been rife with speculation of the former lovers ever burgeoning ‘friendship’ fuelled by frequent messages via one another’s Twitter accounts. This was furthered heightened recently when production duo Da Internz told MTV News that their upcoming remix of Rihanna’s ‘Birthday Cake’ would feature a super secret cameo that would “shock the world”.
With both stars on seemingly good terms, how will RiRi’s fans react? And more importantly will they still stand by her? Can they ever forgive Chris Brown? Whatever the outcome, one thing is for sure, this isn’t the last we will be hearing of the notorious ex-couple.
