Usher struck back at his ex-wife, Tameka Foster Raymond, in court this week after being reduced to tears in the witness stand over allegations that he is a bad father.
The R&B star dabbed tears from his eyes in court when his ex-wife’s lawyer showed the court pictures of him partying at a club in Europe in February, of this year claiming that the singer cares more about his hedonistic lifestyle than he does about his kids.
The 33-year-old R&B superstar who is locked in a custody battle with his ex over increased visitation rights to see their two sons 4-year-old Usher Raymond V and 3-year-old Naviyd Ely Raymond, testified in court that his former wife once went crazy and spat at his girlfriend, trying to fight her after flying into a jealous rage while Usher was returning his sons after a visit.
E! News reported that he told the court, “She wanted to fight,” adding, “ I’m gonna kick your a** b**ch, get out of the car! How dare you bring this woman into my subdivision.” The singer also accused Tameka Foster Raymond of attempting to physically assault him too during the same incident but didn’t press any charges because of his sons: “I didn’t want the boys to know that their father put their mother in jail.” Tameka insists the singer and his girlfriend provoked her and that his accounts of the day are grossly exaggerated.
The couple happily tied the knot in 2007 but got divorced just two years later in 2009. Currently Usher’s ex wife Tameka Foster Raymond is fighting for full custody of their two children.
