The mother of the late Whitney Houston is set to write a book on the singer’s life after signing a book deal with publishing company Harper Collins.
The memoir is expected to be released next year in February and is said to reveal the “unabridged and unbelievable story” of her troubled Grammy award-winning daughter. Cissy Houston commented on the book saying: said, “In sharing our story in this book, I hope to give her fans something to treasure, the way we all treasured Whitney. We are still receiving thousands of letters each day from her fans, and I hope reading this book will provide a deeper understanding into my daughter’s true story,” she added.
Whitney Houston passed away earlier this year in February, aged 48 in the bathroom of her Beverly Hills hotel.
