RiRi’s been slaying the fashion game effortlessly for years, so it comes as no surprise that the singer has been named the new face of French fashion house, Balmain.
Described as an “icon” by the brand’s creative director, Olivier Rousteing, the 25-year-old will feature in Balmain’s Spring/Summer 2014 campaigns appearing in magazines from January. The campaign is full of 80s flare and sees the star rocking black, corkscrew curls and plenty of shoulder-baring ‘fits and luxe accessories.
It’s no shocker Balmain tapped the Bajan fashion queen as she’s renowned for ripping up the rule books when it comes to style. Clearly, Olivier Rousteing had eyes for RiRi from the start as he’s described their current collaboration as a “dream come true”.
