Ladylike hairstyles were dominant at the A/W catwalks, and nothing says sophistication more than this classic style. It’s the perfect look for work, a chic party and even for covering up bad-hair days.
1: Brush your hair into a side parting, and scoop all the hair into a tight side ponytail (on the opposite side to the parting).
2: Take small sections, spray Mizani Gloss Veil Shine Spray (£16.95) on each and pin in place with Babyliss Heated Rollers (£68.27). Leave to cool for 15 minutes.
3: Once you have removed the rollers, split the ponytail into two sections. Take the top section and make a loop (the way the curl sits from the rollers), and pin into a barrel curl. Use the rest of this section to make another loop. If your hair isn’t long enough, split the ponytail into three sections and make three loops.
4: Take the bottom section and loop into place. Pin and set with L’Oréal Elnett Hairspray (£3).
