Is there no end to Queen Bey’s successes? Evidently not.
The singer added yet another plaudit to an ever-growing list with her inclusion on Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People issue, which spotlights the most inspirational movers and shakers across the globe. This marks the second year in a row that Beyoncé has made the list, following in the footsteps of her rapper husband Jay Z who graced the 2013 cover.
The singer, who’s accompanied on the list by the likes Pharrell Williams, Miley Cyrus, Barack Obama, Serena Williams, NBA star Jason Collins and Kerry Washington, commented on her inclusion saying: “I feel like my mother and my daughter have probably been the most influential [in my life] and being a mother, and becoming a mother, and looking at my daughter in her eyes, made me into a woman and made me very, very strong. Shooting for Time magazine was definitely one of the goals in my life. It’s something very important to me as an artist because it’s not about fashion or beauty, it’s about the influence I’ve had on our culture and to be among the other influential people is a huge honor for me.”
