Africa’s heart was broken on Friday when it’s last reamianing team from the continent was booted out of the World Cup. Ghana’s Black Stars were knocked out of the comeptition by Uruguay. The game was full of thrills, kicks and missed chances but it all came down to a penanlty shoot out.
Striker Asamoah Gyan was inconsolable when the game to close with Uruguay winning 4-2 (on penalties). I think everyone wanted ghana to win, some have even gone as far to say that they deserved to win but those are the ules of the game.
