The 19-year-old American actress and singer Zendaya posed in a sexy shoot for Hunger magazine in a number of stunning Vivienne Westwood ensembles directed by Rankin, along with a fashion video called Close Up which is the first taster of her upcoming second album.
In an exclusive behind the scenes interview during her high end cover shoot with Hunger, Zendaya opened up about the challenges young musicians go through and what her definition of a role model really is.
She said: “Nobody’s stupid – if you’re trying to be something that you are not, people will realise at some point that you are not being authentic to who you are. It eats you up inside.”
Zendaya added: “I don’t think it’s important to be a role model because if you’re a role model you’re playing a role, pretending to be someone, and I don’t think any artist should be pretending to be anyone but themselves.”
