Every now and then, a play comes along that can grip the audience completely, and manages to stay with you long after the curtain falls – and you’ll surely find that The Brothers Size is exactly one of those plays, as it returns to the Young Vic theatre for a short run.
By Oscar award-winning writer Tarell Alvin McCraney, the acclaimed play centres on the relationship between two very different brothers after one returns from a spell in prison. With Yoruba mythology and Southern US spirit weaved effortlessly into the tale, the play gives a rarely seen insight into Black masculinity, and is already leaving audiences in complete awe!
