Destiny’s Child are back together!
Well…kind of. The R’n’B girl group who went on hiatus in 2005 to pursue their solos careers, reunited and made us feel like no time had passed on the set of Michelle Williams’ new single ‘Say Yes’.
The catchy, upbeat single which borrows its refrain from a Nigerian church hymn sees Michelle take center stage as her old bandmates Kelly Rowland and Beyonce sing backup.
Proving that the trio are just as close as ever Beyonce commented: “It’s Destiny’s Child time again. This song is so inspiring and it’s not enough music out there like this and I’m proud to be a part of it.” Echoing her former bandmates comments, Williams was clearly thrilled the two had shown their support, “It was so much fun. It was like we were little kids again. I have their back and they have mine. They have showed themselves to be loyal to me time after time. They have proven they are my sisters time and time again.”
