Fresh off the rumour mill are reports that R&B trio Destiny’s Child are set to reunite. The group- made up of Beyonce Knowles, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams took a hiatus in 2005 to focus on solo careers- with Beyonce in particular achieving huge success.
Apparently, talks of a reunion are based on the fact that Columbia Records- Beyonce’s label, are nervous that her new album ‘4’ will be a flop. The album was leaked online earlier this month to lacklustre response. Hoping to capitalise on the high profile currently being enjoyed by singer and new X Factor UK judge Kelly Rowland, the label thinks now is as good a time as any for the girls to get back together.
Will ‘4’ be a failure? Should DC reunite under these circumstances?
