It seems Mathew Knowles has been caught with his hand in the cookie jar- at least that’s what entertainment company, Live Nation claim. Earlier this year, long time fans and industry insiders were shocked when Beyonce Knowles announced she was parting ways with her manager/father Mathew Knowles after he had looked after her business affairs throughout her entire career.
The news came after the highly publicised reports that Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland has also declined to renew Mr Knowles’ services and the fact that her father had an affair and a child whilst married to Beyonce’s mother, Tina. Many suggested that Beyonce siding with her mother may have been the reason behind the split but new revelations have come to light and suggest there may be more to it than that.
Early this year, Live Nation informed the ‘Run the World’ singer that her father had stolen money from her during her ‘I Am…’ world tour, leading her to request an audit of her father’s financial dealings, and when they did, they allegedly found evidence of his wrongdoing, leading Beyonce no choice but to fire him. Mathew Knowles protests his innocence.
