The beef between Drake and Pusha T just got even realer and we are, to say the least… SHOOK. The hip-hop artists have thrown insults back and forth over the past week, but Pusha T has now delivered a sucker punch after dropping his new diss track ‘The Story of Adidon’ on Tuesday night (29th May), hot with claims that Drake has been hiding a secret baby!
To catch up: the rappers have been exchanging disses between one other from as early as 2011, but the most recent chapter in their drama began last week, when Pusha took a swipe at Drizzy on new track ‘Infrared’.
Taken from the Kanye West-produced album, Daytona, ‘Infrared’ contains lines that suggest Drake uses a ghostwriter:
How could you ever right these wrongs
When you don’t even write your songs?

Drake has been called out by others in the music industry (namely, Meek Mill) for ghost writing, something seen as a big taboo in the hip-hop world. However, the Canadian-born artist hit back with the heat in response track ‘Duppy Freestyle’, released over the weekend, rapping:
Don’t push me when I’m in album mode
You not even top 5 as far as your label talent goes… […]
Tell ‘Ye, “We got a invoice comin’ to you”
Considerin’ that we just sold another 20 for you

Drake then posted a photo of an invoice from his OVO record label sent to Pusha T’s label, requesting $100,000 for “promotional assistance and career reviving”. Shady!

Fans were waiting to see how and when Pusha T would respond to Drake’s fury – and it’s safe to say that he came back swinging with new track, ‘The Story of Adidon’.
Over Jay Z’s famous beat for ‘The Story of OJ’, Pusha T takes to exposing Drake in more ways that any of us could have imagined. Pusha’s bars slam Drake for allegedly hiding a secret son named Adonis with former adult film actress Sophie Brussaux, as well as questioning his ‘blackness’, bringing up his absent father and mocking Drake’s long-standing producer, Noah “40” Shebib, who has multiple sclerosis. OUCH.
Lyrics as follows:
Since you name-dropped my fiancee
Let ’em know who you chose as your Beyoncé
Sophie knows better, ask your baby mother
Cleaned her up for IG, but the stench is on her
A baby’s involved, it’s deeper than rap
We talkin’ character, let me keep with the facts
You are hiding a child, let that boy come home
Deadbeat mothaf**ka playn’ border patrol, ooh
Adonis is your son
And he deserves more than an Adidas press run, that’s real
Love that baby, respect that girl
Forget she’s a pornstar, let her be your world (yuugh)
Rumours of Drake fathering a child with Sophie Brussaux in secret first grew in early 2017, after fans spotted the pair at dinner together, months before she gave birth. At the time, a representative for Drake somewhat brushed off the rumours, saying that Drake would do right by the child if it was proven to be his.
Brussaux gave birth to a son on 24th October last year (Drake’s birthday!); since the release of Pusha’s track, her Instagram account was made private.
If you aren’t sweating already prepare to… because not only did Pusha dish the dirt with his rhymes but we NEED to address the artwork posted with the track, which can only be described as celeb scandal worthy.
Along with the dirty laundry lyrics, Pusha posted unearthed photos of Drake in blackface that linked to his words, “always afraid he wasn’t black enough”. The image was reported and removed from Pusha T’s Instagram and some fans are questioning the ethics of using the image.

The images are reportedly sourced from a 2008 art project shoot and were taken by photographer David Leyes, but have now been removed from his website. Fans of Pusha T and Drake have been showing their responses to the record:
