Drama Workhouse presents “Da Word Out Show- Live”

Earlier this month in August, whilst a minority of young adults around the country were out looting, a group of 21 year olds in Lewisham were working on something very different. For the past few months they have spent every spare moment organising a programme of workshops and a big event that focuses on helping other young people to make more informed and positive choices. With the support of ‘Awards for All’ Lottery Funding, the ambitious group are offering a diverse range of free workshops plus a number of opportunities to gain work experience in voluntary positions.
Free workshops, 5th-9th September, Deptford
Choose from drama, music production and engineering, a graffiti masterclass, creative writing, confidence building and interview skills.  As a volunteer, gain hands-on experience in event management and technical lighting as well as in live streaming and creating a pod cast. Most workshops will take place at the Albany, Deptford.
