Just when we’d suspected that we’d had our fill of unlikely celebrity pairings, here comes another potential – as rumour has it that Nicki Minaj and Eminem might be a hot new item!
Over the last week, the pair have been stirring up speculation that the couple are in a relationship – and Eminem has now opened up, saying that he’d be ready and willing to take things further.
The flirty back-and-forths began when Nicki posted an Instagram video, last Thursday, rapping along to her latest song release ‘Big Bank’, featuring Big Sean, YG and 2 Chainz. In her bars, Nicki mentions Eminem himself and says, ‘Told em’ I met Slim Shady. Bagged an EM… once he go black, he’ll be back again.’
Nicki captioned the video with these lyrics following money emojis and a ‘shhh’ keep quiet smiley face.

In the comments fans were quick to snatch the tea, with one fan asking if the two were dating, to which Minaj replied a simple: ‘yes’.
Then Eminem chipped in saying, ‘Girl you know it’s true…’
Toying with us further, Nicki added, ‘Babe, I thought we were gonna keep it on the low til the wedding. Yikes. I’ll talk to you when I get home.’
Fans showed their excitement at the possibility of a new music power couple at Eminem’s Boston show over the weekend. The rapper took to the stage and asked the crowd to vote, ‘How many people in Boston want me to date Nicki Minaj?!’
The majority screamed, eagerly in favour. And Shady replied, ‘Well, god dammit, me too!’
Afterwards, he then addressed Nicki directly, saying: ‘Nicki if you get this message… just text me later we’ll talk about it,’ causing fans to hype even more.
