2004 American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino has been hospitalised after overdosing on sleeping aids and aspirin. Brian Dickens (Fantasia’s manager) gave a statement on how the singer got to this serious low point and how the singer is holding up…
“Yesterday, she was totally overwhelmed by the lawsuit and the media attention alleging she was involved with a married man.”
“Last night, Fantasia was hospitalized. She took an overdose of aspirin and a sleep aid. Her injuries are not life threatening. She was dehydrated and exhausted at the time. Fantasia is stable now. She will be released from the hospital soon.”
These are very serious claims and we do hope that the talented singer pulls through.
