I usually leave it quite a while in between each salon visit, so when I arrived at Dionne Smith’s she had quite a bit of work to do! At my hair consultation, I told Dionne that I have an extremely sensitive scalp and dry ends, so she recommended that I use Affirm Dry and Itchy Sensitive Scalp Relaxer and have a treatment and trim. She used Kera Care Humecto Conditioner and lavender oil to give my thirsty locks a moisture treatment. The stylist for DJ Sarah Jane Crawford and news- reader Charlene White actually has her salon in her conservatory, so you immediately feel relaxed and at home. Plus as her salon is hidden, when you’re long overdue for a salon visit, you needn’t worry about people seeing you having your relaxer applied, as you can get your tresses taken care of away from prying eyes. One thing I have to commend Dionne on is her attention to detail and precision, which is clearly reflected in my new sleek and lustrous hair. I left the salon feeling like a million dollars and can’t wait to pay Dionne another visit the next time my hair needs some VIP treatment!
