1: Apply KeraCare Setting Lotion (£4.49) on slightly damp hair, brush half of your hair forwards across your face, and start your French plait behind your ear.
2: Once you have plaited your whole head, ending where you started, pin the end into place by tucking the remaining hair under the plait so it is well hidden.
3: To give an extra wow factor, pin in a ponytail headpiece like American Dream Ponytail (£29.95), using Superdrug Kirby Grips (£1.29).
4: Split the ponytail in two. Take small sections from beneath each half, cross them over, and repeat to form a fishtail plait.
