Forbes have named Rihanna and Lil’ Wayne as the world’s richest urban artists under the age of 30.
The Forbes ‘Ten Wealthiest Celebrities under 30′ list ranked Bajan superstar Rihanna at number three on the list after she raked in a fortune of $53 million in 2012 in a year that saw the release of her album Talk That Talk, fragrance Reb’l Fleur and an extensive world tour as well as endorsements with drinks maker Vita Coco.
Keeping Rihanna off the top spot was American country singer Taylor Swift, who made $57 million and hearthrob pop star Justin Bieber who earned $55 million.Cash Money rapper Lil’ Wayne ranked 8th on the list with $27 million, making fellow YMCMB stable member Drake’s “25 sitting on $25 mil” boast, seem just a tiny bit less impressive.
