No rest for the wicked eh? Clearly not tired out from preparations for the release of his and Kanye West’s upcoming album ‘Watch The Throne’, Jay-Z has embarked on yet another business venture- this time with producer to the stars, Pharrell Williams.
Jay Z’s Rocawear label, owned by the Iconix Brand Group, has gone into business with Pharrell’s Billionaire Boys Club – worn by everyone from Chris Brown to Daisy Lowe. Despite earlier reports, Jay was keen to clarify that the move was in no way an attempt to take over the label. He tweeted: “Partnering with @4real4rell on “BBC” follow him.. (Not “buying” as GQ erroneously reported).”
The pair plan to work together to make the brand even more successful than it already is.
