Shortly after rumours surfaced that Rihanna would join Coldplay on stage to perform at the London 2012 Paralympics closing ceremony, it seems another ROC Nation name is now doing the rounds: Jay-Z.
If these rumours are true then the closing ceremony is set to be an even bigger spectacle than expected. With both ROC Nation artists set to grace the stage we can only assume that the “Umbrella” singer will duet with her mentor. A source close to the events organising team has promised us all that “they are putting together a spectacular set list !”
The performance will almost certainly be the cherry on top for Jay-Z, who has put in a fair bit of work on the UK festival scene this year with headline slots at BBC Radio 1’s Hackney Weekender, his and Kanye West’s Watch The Throne Tour and his very own Made In America festival where he closed our the show with Pearl Jam.
