Jay-Z vows to never use the word ‘bitch’ again

Or so he says. Brooklyn born rapper and new daddy Jay-Z is clearly taken with fatherhood and enamoured with his and superstar diva wife Beyonce’s newborn daughter Blue Ivy Carter. Not only did Jay write a song in honour off his new offspring entitled ‘Glory’ but it seems he intends to completely clean up his act in a bid to be a good father- starting with his language.

The ‘That’s My Bitch’ rapper wrote a poem commemorating his daughter’s birth and outlined his intentions to make his vocabulary a little more baby-friendly. The poem reads: “Before I got in the game, made a change, and got rich/ I didn’t think hard about using the word bitch/ I rapped, I flipped it, I sold it, I lived it/ Now with my daughter in this world I curse those that give it. No man will degrade her, or call her name. I’m so focused on your future, the degradation has passed. I wish you wealth, health and insight. Forever young you may pass. Blue Ivy Carter, my angel.”
