Rich and intense jewel coloured eyeshadows are unapologetically daring and dramatic.
Emerald
Deep emerald eyes and dark chocolate skin are a make up match made in heaven. Start by applying M.A.C Pigment in Teal (£17) over lids, along the waterline and shape into a point. In the corner and above the bold colour apply Clinique All About Shadow Singles in Gold Rush (£16). Contrast with luscious red lips – try using NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Pop Life (£17.50).
Amethyst
Brighten complexions with a splash of sparkling purple to eyes such as M.A.C Pigment in Violet (£17) and blend with a darker hue like Estée Lauder Pure Color Stay-on Shadow Paint in Sinister (£19) beneath the brow and waterline. Leave lips bare and finish by painting nails a deep purple hue like OPI Nail Lacquer in Lincoln Park (£11.50).
Black Opal
Add a new dimension to dark smokey eyes with hints of gold. Get this look by applying Bobbi Brown Metallic Eye Shadow in Black Charcoal (£17) over the eyes and slightly above the crease. Add Diego Dalla Palma Eyeshadow in Frost Copper (£14) to the tear ducts and False Lashes from Ardell (£5.49). Keep the gold theme going by mixing Black Up Metallic in Ruby Red and Gold Copper (£15) on lips.
Sapphire
Make eyes the centre of attention with bold and vibrant metallic blue eyes. Wash Illamasqua Pure Pigment in Alluvium (£16.50) completely over eyes including the corners. Next groom eyebrows with Smashbox Brow Tech To Go (£19) and coat lashes with YSL Luxurious Mascara (£23.50). Finally, on the lips apply an on trend dark lippie – we are loving Black Up Lipstick in No 28 (£15.50).
