After becoming a regular at runway shows over the past few years, it seems Kanye’s finally ready to show the world what he’s learned. The rapper debuted his much anticipated womenswear line, DW by Kanye West at Paris Fashion Week this past weekend. The Chi-Town rapper is no stranger to women’s clothes- with his gender-defying style often making headlines, and sought the advice and help of British designer Louise Goldin and Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci to bring his dark, twisted fashion fantasy to life.
The collection, named ‘DW’ after Kanye’s late mother Donda West, was one of the hottest tickets of the Parisian show season with a collection that featured bondage dresses, hoods, fur, and killer heels. Among the attendees were Ciara, Jeremy Scott, the Olsen twins and US Vogue editrice, Anna Wintour.
