Kelly Rowland’s stock continues to rise and rise as the singer’s career reached new heights. As if the release of her new album and X Factor UK judging gig weren’t enough, the former Destiny’s Child member has just been named as the official spokeswoman for Sean John’s new ‘Empress’ fragrance.
‘Empress’ is the female counterpart to Diddy’s ‘I Am King’ fragrance which was released back in 2008. Explaining his reasons for choosing ‘Lay It On Me’ singer Kelly, the rapper said: “Empress is for the woman who is powerful beyond all others. She is greater than a queen; she is the ruler of her universe.”
The fragrance will be released under the rapper’s Sean John label and sold at Macy’s stores in the US.
