Florence Bryan –mother of X Factor contestant Misha B spoke out this week for the very first time about her relationship with her daughter. Florence claims she sent an open letter expressing how proud she was of Misha and desperately asked for a reunion. The X Factor hopeful hasn’t been in touch with her mother throughout her time on the show and has not invited her to attend any performances.
Florence walked out on Misha at the tender age of three, leaving her sister to look after her. Misha now 19 shared her heartbreak over her mother abandoning her at such a young age and told of how she never even got a chance to know her: “I still don’t really know what was wrong with my mother and why she couldn’t look after me. All I’ve been told is that she was ill,” she said.
Florence explained her reasons for leaving and how it was one of the hardest decisions she has had to face. The troubled mother confessed that she was depressed and addicted to heroin. Florence ended up in jail for 21 months and and has recently said all she wants now is for Misha to give her another chance to be a mother again.
