DAVE – LOCATION (FT. BURNA BOY)
Summer is officially here! Dave is back with to bless us with the visuals of latest hit “Location” featuring afrobeats artist Burna Boy. Directed by Kaylum Dennis and Dave himself, the video was shot out in the beautiful scenery of sunny Ibiza, at Stormzy’s #Merky Festival. The video captures the two artists living their best lives on white sandy beaches, accompanied by their friends and a few famous faces, including the likes of Jorja Smith, Fredo, Krept & Konan and of course, Stormzy! BEYONCÉ – THE GIFT (ALBUM)
Of course we couldn’t leave the Queen Bey out of this week’s New Music Fridays! We just can’t get enough of this track! ‘Spirit’ makes us feel a type of way… first of all, the video is so aesthetically pleasing, the vocals Beyonce gives us are out of this world, as well as some preview snippets of the new live-action The Lion King. It really is the gift that keeps on giving. ‘Spirit’ is the leading track for The Lion King: The Gift, an album produced and featuring Beyoncé, alongside numerous African artists.
KRANIUM – SO ME MOVE
Kranium has been making a household name in his hometown Jamaica and has slowly started to break through into the American music scene with his dancehall flares. Over the last couple of years, Kranium has made a name for himself by working with some of the biggest artists in Hip-Hop and R&B, such as Ty Dolla $ign, WizKid and Major Lazer. This time, Kranium is back with more vibes for the summer season with “So Me Move” directed by Xavier Damase. This is a smooth dancehall record, in which Kranium takes you on a journey delivering the lyrics of having to leave some people behind and staying true to himself. London-based prouder Juls, also known for his “Juls Baby’ moniker has teamed up with Nigerian artist and afrobeats star Mr Eazi in his latest track – ‘Cake.’ Both Juls and Mr Eazi have been making waves in the afrobeats scene; however now finally joining forces for the ultimate summer track. The track has been taken from Juls upcoming debut project which drops on 26th of July. Cake’ is filled with a warm summery beats which we know we soon be a hit single! Listen and see for yourself!.

EVE – RELOAD FT. KONSHENS
After marking herself a unique spot in the music industry in the 2000 with hit tunes such as ‘Let Me Blow Ya Mind’ and ‘Who’s That Girl’, the hip-hop princess is back with a brand new single, called Reload. Reload was inspired by Eve’s love for reggae, and it features Jamaican artist Konshens. The reggae-rap song is Eve’s first solo song in over half a decade! Well come back Eve!
MAYA B – GETTING WOAH
Maya B has dropped her new single, a track called ‘Getting Woah’ to which she explains this song examines her deft and diverse pop deconstruction as an artist. Maya B is steadily on the rise with recognition from Sir Elton John, DJ KHALED and Miguel. Watch out for this fresh face, you’re going to be seeing her around a lot more!
