FKJ ft Bas- Risk
FKJ has released his latest song Risk as part of his new EP Ylang Ylang, out next week. Sudanese-American rapper Bas who is signed to Dreamville Records features on the track. His poetic lyrics and flow is a perfect fit for FKJ’s genre-blending production. FKJ has been described as the ‘pioneer’ of the New French House genre and is well known for producing Masego’s 2017 hit Tadow.
ATL Grandma ft Rico Nasty – Stomp and Grind
Rico Nasty has joined ATL Grandma in Stomp and Grind, a song that mixes the old with the new. The track showcases a blend of seventies funk with Grandma’s smooth guitar playing, then transitions into a trap instrumental for Rico. The chorus then makes way for Grandma and Rico’s soft vocals, assisted by a nostalgic yet contemporary music video.
The Game ft Anderson Paak – Stainless
The Game has dropped his new single Stainless less than a month before his Born to Rap album will be released. The song has a West side cruising down the street vibe, sampling Tupac’s legendary track Picture me Rollin and features Anderson Paak. The California born artist’s have collaborated before on Room in Here, Magnus Carlsen and Crenshaw/80s and Cocaine.
Burna Boy – Omo
Burna Boy’s greatness never seems stops. Being one of the most consistent artists yet, the Afro-fusion star was just awarded the ‘Best African Act’ at the MTV EMA’s. Earlier this year, Burna Boy headlined at Coachella, The Interswitch One Africa Music Fest and won the Best International Act at the 2019 BET Awards. Now he has released the visuals of his impressive track Omo from The African Giant album, just after his successful tour. The production is sophisticated and shows the star in his element as an irresistible lover man.
Col3trane ft Miraa May – Rendezvous
North Londoners Col3trane and Miraa May have linked up with a collaboration for their sultry new song Rendezvous. The production is cinematic and explores what it means to be a ride or die, with both singers’ shadows accompanying the action.
Ocean Wisdom ft Ghetts – LOWRIDER
Ocean Wisdom made his claim to fame delivering lyrics faster than Eminem’s Rap God on his 2015 single Walkin. Now ahead of his Big Talk European tour, Ocean Wisdom has released his new single Lowrider. The smoke-filled trippy visuals with actual low riders in the background accompany the ominous soundtrack. Grime’s wordsmith Ghetts features on the song with nothing but energy and punch lines that never disappoint!
