Idris Elba – Stand By Me ft Kranium & Tanika
Big Driis is back with another tune, this time its featuring Jamaican dancehall artist Kranium and South London’s very own Tanika. The reggae inspired track will have you thinking about you significant other and wishing for hot weather. Stand By Me is the first in the collection of songs from Idris Elba’s directorial debut YARDIE. It’sdefinitely a bop.
Shingai – Coming Home
Shingai has returned with a new and refreshing debut solo single ‘Coming Home’. You might recognise her as the lead vocalist and bassist for the UK indie band The Noisettes. This time she has stripped it back and taken inspiration from her Zimbabwean roots to give us ‘Coming Home’ from her forthcoming EP Ancient Futures.
Rak-Su – Thunder
This British boy band have premiered the music video for their new song ‘Thunder’ from their second EP ‘Rome’. Rak-Su has seemed to found their sound, with this track being pop infused with reggaeton and R&B. The X-Factor winners will be supporting Olly Murs on his upcoming UK & Ireland tour throughout the year.
Sean Paul & J Balvin – Contra La Pared
This brand new electrifying single is about to have us all on our feet. With Grammy Award-winning Dancehall Legend Sean Paul and Latin superstar J Balvin collaborating to create a new sound with their single, Contra La Pared. Look out for the track’s new Fuego music video, out tomorrow
Anderson Paak – King James
After revealing the tracklist for his upcoming project ‘Ventura’ on Twitter, Anderson Paak has also released a lead song from the record, ‘King James’. The song pays homage to Lebron James for giving back to his community. The guest-heavy album will also feature the likes of Andre 3000 and the late Nate Dogg. We look forward to listening to the album when it’s released on April 12th.
Emeli Sande – Sparrow
After a break from music, Emeli Sande has made a comeback with her breath-taking new single, Sparrow. Emeli serves pure vocal emotion on this ballad, accompanied by a gospel choir this sound is something we’ve truly missed. This is the first single from her upcoming project, which is yet to be named.
