Hard-partying pop star Rihanna has called off her 10-week trip to the UK at the last minute for unknown reasons according to reports from her management. Recent controversy about the We Found Love singer’s seemingly out of control lifestyle has sparked rumours that her wild ways and long nights out may be taking their toll on her health.
The singer was supposed to move to the capital for just over two months in order to complete filming for a fashion related television programme she is executive producing. The as yet untitled reality show which sees up and coming fashion students design and style celebrities is set to hit our screens later this year.
The star is still expected to perform a headline slot this weekend on the Sunday leg of BBC Radio 1’s Hackney Weekender. A spokesperson for the festival has said, ”There is no indication that she isn’t performing. We look forward to her performance.”
