It seems when it comes to the UK, Rihanna just can’t get enough and that same sentiment also extends to British fashion. In addition to producing a fashion-related project alongside the likes of Henry Holand and Nicola Roberts set to hit screens later this year, it was announced this week that the Bajan beauty will be collaborating with high street fashion store River Island by designing a new range of clothing. “River Island love to have fun with clothes!” commented the ‘Where Have You Been’ singer on the collaboration. She also said that the family run aspect of the business helped her to make the decision to design her first collection with them.
Rihanna’s already one of the biggest style icons this side of the millennium, so it makes perfect sense for her to pursue this business venture and keep herself busy. We’re sure that lounging on a luxury yacht in the Mediterranean must get boring pretty quickly!
Rihanna’s River Island collection is due to hit stores in Spring 2013.
