The hugely influential 90s American hip-hop group Run-DMC are coming to the UK for some exclusive performances! They’ll also be performing with their long-time DJ’s, DJ Charlie Chan and DJ Ruckus.
Run-DMC were one of the first hip hop acts to cross over into the mainstream world and establish the sound of hard-core rap through their rock-infused samples, influencing the next generation of rappers.
It has recently been announced that British-born American rapper Slick Rick has been added to the line up, making it London’s most iconic hip-hop concerts of the year.
Slick Rick has had hits such as ‘La Di Da Di’, ’Children’s Story’ and ‘Street Talking’. As well as selling four platinum albums, he has had a total of 35 records used by the likes of Beyoncé, The Beastie Boys, The, Notorious B.I.G, Kanye West, Miley Cyrus and more.
Genuine hip-hop royalty will take the centre stage at the Eventim Apollo on Thursday 5th July 2018 for the first time ever in London this summer – and you could be there!
