This summer I really want my Afro back in full force! My hair has been pretty damaged from relaxers in the past so this year I am turning over a new leaf! I booked an appointment at Anne Veck’s salon and I was really excited to embrace the au natural look! My first impressions of the salon were how friendly the staff were, I had been feeling slightly self-conscious of the poor condition of my hair but the team made me feel totally at ease. The lovely Anne Veck sat me down and explained what products she would be using to benefit my hair and why I should avoid certain products if I wanted to care for my afro. I am totally clueless when it comes to maintaining my hair so I loved hearing about what products I needed! When Anne began to wash my hair, I was so relaxed – it felt more like a massage session than a trip to the hair salon! After she began to section and blow dry my hair, Anne put a moisturising product on the ends to really keep my Afro smooth and soft. Overall, I had an amazing experience at the salon and I really recommend it. I cannot thank the team enough for making me feel comfortable and really explaining how to take care of my hair.
