Not only did last night mark the end of the phenomenally successful London 2012 Olympic Games, but it also meant it was finally party time for a lot of the elite athletes currently in the Capital.
Clearly keen to let off steam after months and even years of sacrifice and intense training for this year’s Games, the Roundhouse in London’s Camden, was the venue of choice for a number of A-Listers, particularly the triumphant USA Men’s Basketball team who picked up the Gold medal after a hotly contested final against Spain. The event, Club Bud presents TAO/Marquee, offered those in attendance a simply unforgettable night.
With superstar producer and DJ Swizz Beats on the decks to ensure the music was on point, guests including some of the NBA’s biggest stars such Lebron James, Carmelo Anthony and Kobe Bryant as well as 100m Bronze medallist Justin Gatlin sipped on Ace of Spades champagne and partied until 3am. As if that wasn’t enough, New York rapper Nas popped up in the DJ booth and delivered a surprise performance much to the delight of onlookers like Wretch 32, Alexandra Burke. Rizzle Kicks and Lennox Lewis.
