With the spirit of Valentine’s Day in the air, we figured it was time to add some love hearts to the atmosphere ourselves. Presenting: the 2019 Lust List! Featuring old favourites and new entries a-plenty, here are ten men you should have your eyes on for the coming year. Thank us later…
10. Mo Gilligan (aka Mo the Comedian)
Mo is a successful stand up comedian, radio personality and TV host. This rising star is best known for his hilarious Instagram characters and sketches that often go viral – for example ‘Types of Girls In The Club’ and the many rambling monologues from little kid ‘Kavani’. With co-signs from the likes of Drake, Stormzy and co-host Big Narstie, its obvious Mo has what it takes – and with his own TV show launching on Channel 4 in the near future, we’re sure he’s about to go all the way. For those who want a man who is funny, talented and eyes on the eyes, Mo is definitely the one!
9. Yxng Bane
Singer and rapper Yxng (pronounced ‘Young’) Bane first began to make a mark on the charts when he released his remix to Ed Sheeran’s ‘Shape of You’. He has since stayed consistent, regularly releasing catchy tracks like 2017’s ‘Rihanna’ and ‘Needed Time’, which dropped late last year. With lyrics that boast confidence and sauce, Yxng Bane is definitely more than worthy to be on this list.
8. Rak-Su
So technically, this counts as more than one guy – but we just couldn’t choose one! In case you’re not familiar, Rak-Su are a ridiculously attractive British boy band, who shot to fame after winning the 14th series of The X Factor in 2017. They began their career by mostly doing covers and remixes but last year, they brought out their own song ‘I Want You to Freak’, which earned them a place on the top 50. With 2019 set to include more music from them, as well as a tour of the UK, Rak-Su will surely be on your radar all year long.
7. Idris Elba
Simply, a given. Idris is someone that everyone can appreciate, no matter your age, origin! He’s is a well-established actor (and occasional DJ) who began his career by starring in popular TV shows such as The Wire – and since then, he’s popped up in many programmes and movies from The Office US to Marvel’s Thor and Avengers films, and even family-favourites like Finding Dory. After scaring us all silly in Luther at the start of the year, Idris will soon be featuring in the new Fast and Furious film, set for release in August 2019. His fiancée, Sabrina Dhowre, is one lucky woman…
6. Dele Alli
He’s one of the most well-known English football players because of the ‘Dele Alli Challenge’, which went viral and became an internet craze after his interesting goal celebration. This popular Tottenham Hotspur and England midfielder is also known for his impressive fashion sense. He even has his own clothing line, ‘BoohooMan by Dele’, which was launched last year so there’s no question as to why Vogue named him one of the 15 reasons people should watch the World Cup in 2018.
5. Khalid
Not to be confused with social media sensation DJ Khaled, this cute-faced 20-year-old American singer’s soulful voice is one you will recognize anywhere. His most popular songs are ‘Better’, ‘Young Dumb and Broke’ and his very first single, ‘Location’, which showcases his massive bags of talent. Khalid may be young but his music shows, he’s definitely ahead of his time.
4. Wes Nelson
Wes became an object of public lust while he was a contestant on the 2018 series of Love Island, and has been ‘doing bits’ ever since. His stint on the guilty pleasure reality show left people wanting more of his cheeky personality and, of course, those super defined muscles. His recent stint on Dancing on Ice offers more of that and has pushed him right to the front of our minds – but his now ex-girlfriend, fellow Love Island contestant Megan Barton-Hanson, probably wouldn’t want to hear that…
3. Kofi Siriboe
Now, this one you might recognise from his performance in 2017 comedy romp Girls Trip as the man that snatched up Jada Pinkett-Smith – and had an unfortunate grapefruit accident. He was often shirtless in that film but that definitely wasn’t something to complain about! Kofi is also known for featuring in Straight Outta Compton and Queen Sugar. Like a lot of the people on this list, his abs adds to his attractiveness so it’s no surprise that he’s also a model! While he’s been romantically involved with fellow beautiful person Duckie Thot, recent reports state that their love story has come to an end – which leaves a potential space in his heart for someone new. People, get your applications together…
2. Rome Flynn
This baby-faced triple threat is known most recently, for his role in How to Get Away with Murder. It’s one thing to be attractive but he is also a multi-talented actor, model who sings and plays the guitar. Last year, Rome won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series. Unfortunately for us, he has a wife and child – but one glance at their combine cuteness makes up for the fact that he’s off the market!
1. Anthony Joshua
Otherwise known as AJ, and the man of many women’s dreams, Anthony went from being an athletic kid to being one of the most globally respected heavyweight boxing champions in the world. He’s got it all…the muscles, the title and the cutest son ever. The father-son bond would make ice melt and it only makes him 10,000 times more attractive. We love a committed dad!
