Rihanna always brings it to the Met Gala – remember her Comme des Garcons dress in 2017? Riri turned heads in a structured dress made of floral rosettes. And in 2015? The star dazzled us with an outfit that took two years to create, with a bright yellow and fur-trimmed cape. But this year, she proved she was the absolute queen as it’s been discovered that she has been the most talked about celebrity of the night!
According to research from Crimson Hexagon, Bajan superstar Riri received around 311K tweets mentioning her look since the gala on Monday – 184K more than Zendaya, in second place!
And there’s good reason for it. Once again Riri fulfilled her fashion icon status and arrived to the red carpet dressed like a female pope, slaying this year’s theme, “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination”.
