This month take your beauty inspiration from Mother Africa.

Border Lines:
Bold tribal markings were created using Primary Yellow, (MAC Cosmetics, £15), then Greenstroke Paintpot (MAC Cosmetics, £13) was applied as a base, and Swimming and Juxt eyeshadows (MAC Cosmetics, £11 each) for a greater shock of colour. The waterline, top and bottom, was lined using Jet Black liner (K by Beverley Knight, £10). Bad Gal Lash mascara was used to define lashes for effect. Guava Crème Cheek Colour (Jemma Kidd Make Up School, £13) grabs attention, and lips were outlined in Cork (MAC Cosmetics, £10) and the colour pumped up with Fuchsia Lipgloss (Jemma Kidd Make Up School, £14).
Earrings: Mononoko

Primal Heat:
Foundation in Mocha (K by Beverley Knight Cosmetics, £22) was buffed on to the skin and set with Mineralize Skinfinish in Dark (MAC Cosmetics, £18.50). Skin was then contoured using Casino Bronzing Powder (Nars Cosmetics, £22). Eyes were made radiant using Cream Colour Base (MAC Cosmetics, £13) and were defined using Jet Black Eyeliner (K by Beverley Knight, £10). Further eye enhancement came from Passionate and Carbon eye shadows (MAC Cosmetics, £11 each) blended neatly beneath the lower lash line. Tribal markings were created using Genuine Orange Paintstick (MAC Cosmetics, £15). Chestnut Lip Liner (MAC Cosmetics, £11) and Niagara Lipstick (Nars Cosmetics, £17) were applied to the lips.

Ancient Blue:
An intense black line was applied with Black Track (MAC Cosmetics, £12.50) and accented using Crushed Jewel (Jemma Kidd Make Up School, £14). Tribal markings were created using Black, Black Paintstick (MAC Cosmetics, £15) and the face was softly contoured using Raizin Blush (MAC Cosmetics, £16.50). A pop of colour was applied to the cheeks using Blush in Taj Mahal (Nars Cosmetics, £19.50), and lips were enhanced using a gentle application of Vegas Volt (MAC Cosmetics, £12).
